Senior Servants Ministry

 

Ministry Mission and Purpose:  To "Bridge the Gap between the Church and Community" by providing an informational forum for our seniors while serving God through fellowship, support, community service, and activities.

 

Ministry members

• Serve as Christian mentors and role models for our younger members and those in our community.

• Seek out-reach opportunities by caring for the needs of others in our church and community through our church's food drive and clothing assistance projects.

• Spearhead the Voters’ Registration and Identification Drives and provides transportation to and from voting sites.

• Sponsor informational forums and seminars on community, state, and national issues as well as on Health and Wellness, Finance and Estate planning, End of Life Planning, Insurance Reductions, just to name a few.

Engage in fellowship activities including monthly birthday celebrations and luncheons, picnics, local and in-state sight-seeing tours as well as a variety of local plays and concerts and other fun activities.  Earlier this year, they sponsored a trip to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida.
