Flower and Beautification Ministry

 

“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.”

Purpose

The purpose of the Flower and Beautification Ministry is responsible for the décor of the Rehoboth Baptist Church. We are responsible for: (a) planting seasonal flowers and maintaining the potted plants around the church and the Family Life Center, (b) ordering floral arrangements for special occasions and funerals whenever needed, (c) decorating the Sanctuary and Family Life Center for holidays and special events, (d) provide and maintain the plants and flower for the Sanctuary, (e) we pay close attention to details involving the beauty and tidiness of the church and the Family Life center and send flower to the bereaved of our church family, as well.

 

Mission

Our mission is to encourage, and inspire Christians, and train workers in improving their knowledge about flowers and the beauty of them and their relationship, according to the Bible.  Our mission is to keep our Church and its surroundings beautiful and clean. In doing so, we pledge to encourage others to do the same. To inspire and pass on the knowledge to others so that they may in turn, beautify their surroundings and communities, and, by so doing, strengthen their friendship with each other.
